Shu Lea Cheang

tw As a new media artist, Shu Lea Cheang has engaged in large scale networked installation and performance since the mid-90s. She was noted for BRANDON (1998-1999), the Guggenheim museum's first net art commission. Her work drafts sci-fi narratives, shifting in hard and soft, sex and polities, fiction and reality, fantasia and earth-bound. Currently she is touring her new work UKI and planning Baby Work for Remediating the Social Edinburgh and Moving Forest (performed at transmediale.08) during London2012.
