1998–2002
Edition:
2017

Agent Ruby is an artificial intelligent Web agent shaped by its encounters and adventures with users, which is seeded to user servers through a site of origin or birth. Ruby appears as a female face with shifting expressions who chats with users and remembers their questions. When needed, she searches the Internet for further information, increasing her body of knowledge. Her internal system continually changes with use, reflecting these encounters; even her moods are directly affected by web traffic. The Web agent can be accessed on the website agentruby.net. Ruby is also one of the main characters of Hershman Leeson’s film Teknolust (2003).
