This very unusual but extremely effective combination of computer animation and real actors shows the arrival of the first Portuguese ship on Japanese shores. The lively and diverse scenes are reminiscent of historical Japanese paintings portraying the movements of the long-nosed Portuguese. This animated film was shot for the Portuguese pavillion at Expo 1998 in Lisbon.
