An audio-visual performance involving four radio sets with digital clock displays. The pulsation of the sound output is directly connected to the pulsation of the clocks. Minimal sequences emerging through electricity and the mere passing of time are mirrored visually in the rhythms of the clocks’ LED displays.

As futurism celebrates its 101st anniversary, this world première gives a new context to an instrument developed by Italian futurist Luigi Russolo, the Intonarumori. In this performance, which also includes a collection of antiquated alarm clocks, the instrument is opened up, allowing audiences to perceive its hidden mechanisms.
