Richard Wright
Richard Wright (1963), Graham Harwood (1960) and Matsuko Yokokoji (1960) are an English-Japanese artist collective that has worked together for the first time in 2004 under the name Mongrel. Working with a fusion of art, electronic media and street culture, they try to reach beyond the hierarchies of power and knowledge to involve those normally excluded from expression and collaboration. Their works have been nominated for a BAFTA award and are affiliated to the permanent collections of the Pompidou Centre Paris and the Centre for Media Arts (ZKM) in Karlsruhe.
