Residency Programme
Vilém Flusser Residency Programme for Artistic Research
For our next residency, in 2013, you can now submit your works. The residency programme supports projects and activities which are simultaneously conceptual and practice-based, exploring links between aesthetics, materiality and politics. Deadline for submission: 31 July 2012 | Read more.
Currently Georgios Papadopoulous has already started working as our first artist in residence. In the next three months, he will work on the research project Iconographies of the Drachma – Speculation on the Symbolic Value, together with visiting artists, researchers and designers.
The project on Greek economy and currency will be presented, developed and discussed in a series of events organised with the Vilém Flusser Archiv at the University of the Arts, Berlin.
reSource event 001: TrialCrack
11 – 12 May, General Public, Berlin
The first networking event of the reSource, discussing methodologies of collaborative curating and the cultural landscape of Berlin in the field of network economy, hacktivism and queer culture.
The reSource comes back after transmediale 2k+12 with a two day programme under the name of Trial Crack. 11 May: a collective discussion with cultural producers based in Berlin (15:00 - 19:00). 12 May: three different but conceptually linked discussions: Sustainable Disruption (13:00 - 14:50); Post Privacy (15:30 - 17:00) and Queer Shifts (17:30 - 19:00). | Read more
