Susanne Jaschko

Dr Susanne Jaschko (born 1967) is an independent curator of contemporary experimental art. Her curatorial practice focuses on experimental art which goes beyond art as commodity and renews the concept of art and its social-cultural functions. She recently founded prozessagenten, an organisation that researches and produces processual art and design intersecting with life and public space. She ran the Presentation department and the Artist-in-Residence program at the Netherlands Media Art Institute in Amsterdam in 2008/09, and was curator of transmediale between 1997-2004. She holds a doctorate degree in Art History/Philosophy and regularly lectures and writes about subjects relating to her research and curatorial practice.
