Thomas Munz is an independent curator and editor living in Berlin. In his curatorial and editorial work he is focusing on contemporary art at the crossroads of technology and society. He has studied visual arts and media arts at University of Art Braunschweig and Bandung Institute of Technology. Previously, he was founder and co-director of Werkleitz Biennale, curator at V2_ Institute for the Unstable Media and curator as well as publications editor of transmediale from 2002 to 2009. Currently he is researching curatorial perspectives on the future of archiving at a.o. transmediale.
