The work of Mario de Vega overlaps relations between stability, failure, simulation and ambiguity with site-specific interventions, documentation, process-oriented projects, sculpture and sound improvisation. In the context of music, his practice explores the value of fragility and in-determination involving a wide range of customised interfaces. His work has appeared in different contexts throughout Europe, Mexico, North and South America, Russia, Korea and Japan. He works in Berlin and Mexico City.
