Jos de Gruyter was born in Geel in 1965. He studied in the Fine Arts Department at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. He lives and works in Brussels. Harald Thys was born in Wilrijk in 1966. He studied film and video section at the Institute for Fine Arts, Sint-Lukas Brussel and in the Fine Arts Department at the Jan van Eyck Akademy in Maastricht. He lives and works in Brussels.
