Workshop RECLAIM THE STREETS
The workshop is organised by Susa Pop / Public Art Lab, initiator of the MEDIA FACADES FESTIVAL EUROPE 2010 in cooperation with the festival partner institutions m-cult / Helsinki, FACT / Liverpool, iMAL / Brussels, Ars Electronica Futurelab / Linz, Kitchen Budapest and Medialab-Prado / Madrid - hosted by Christian Zoellner and Tobias Fischer of VR/urban.
Part research-station, part media-laboratory, part docking-module, the structure of the Futures Exchange in the HKW foyer, designed by the Berlin architecture practice Raumlabor, will house interdisciplinary, process-based projects exploring the notion of futurity as a cultural construct.

Nyein Chan Su aka NCS works in the fields of painting, performance and video art. One of the few Burmese media artists, he cofounded Studio Square Art Gallery, Yangon, and received a Certificate of Recognition at the ASEAN Art Awards.
Andy Cameron is executive director of Fabrica, the Benetton research centre on communication. He investigates the nature of interactivity and is editor of the book The Art of Experimental Interaction Design.
Artist and mathematician Jem Finer is the creator of the 1000 year long musical composition Longplayer, a work that represents a convergence of many of his concerns, particularly those relating to systems, long-durational processes and extremes of scale in both time and space.
